Bishop Ullathorne Uniform Guidance 

Purchasing uniform can often be challenging as so many retail outlets sell items that are labelled as uniform. Sometimes these garments do not meet our expectations for Bishop Ullathorne uniform.

I hope these images will support you in selecting the right uniform and answering any questions your child may have. 

Trousers – PLEASE NOTE THAT SKINNY LEG OR LEGGING TROUSERS ARE NOT ALLOWED. 

 SKIRTS –PLEASE NOTE THAT SCHOOL SKIRTS SHOULD NOT BE TIGHT FITTING OR TOO SHORT.

 

SHOES - No canvas pumps, trainers or sports shoes

 

 

 

PLEASE NOTE: jewellery should be limited to one small stud earring in each ear. Acrylic nails or nail varnish are not allowed.

 

School Uniform

Blazer - Black blazer, Bishop Ullathorne badge on the pocket

Tie - Clip on tie in school colours

Skirt -Tartan school skirt

Jumper - Bishop Ullathorne school jumper, to be purchased from a uniform shop

Trousers - Black, regular fit

Shirt - White, to be worn with clip-on tie

Socks - Grey or black - no light colours

Shoes - Plain black smart, outdoor shoes – no trainers or canvas.

Tights - Black

 

PE KIT

 (Please ask for the Year 7 kit)

• Suitable training shoes (black)
• Black shorts/skort with school logo
• Red and black polo shirt with school logo
• Red Ullathorne socks
• Black and red 1/2 zip sweatshirt - optional
• Football boots.

 

Jewellery

Only one stud earring in each ear is permitted. No other piercings are allowed.

Hairstyles

No extreme hairstyles or hair colours are allowed.

Nails

Acrylic nails or painted nails are not allowed.

 

PLEASE NOTE: All items of clothing and equipment should be marked with your name to enable the speedy return of lost property. Mobile phones and iPods are discouraged. If they are seen or heard, they will be confiscated. The school is not responsible for any lost items.
