Chaplaincy at Bishop Ullathorne
"Do not let anyone treat you as if you are unimportant because you are young. Instead, be an example to the believers with your words, your actions, your love, your faith, and your pure life."
1 Timothy 4:12
At Bishop Ullathorne Christ is at the centre of all we do and supporting that is our chaplaincy. Our full time Lay Chaplain, Lauren Stundon supports our chaplaincy team and our chaplaincy representatives in all matters of collective worship and Catholic life.
Our Chapel is at the centre of our school where the Blessed Sacrament is reserved, the most powerful reminder that Christ really is at the centre of our school.
At key times throughout the year, we have the Sacrament of Reconciliation and celebrate those Solemnities for which we are present in school, as well as celebrating the Mass weekly.
As it is our mission to be an active Christian community of love and service, we take every opportunity to raise money and collect items for local and international causes.
We are all made imago dei. Every person has gifts and talents, and God has a plan for each of our lives. Chaplaincy at Bishop Ullathorne plays an important part in making sure all our young people know they are loved and have a life purpose.
